Just wondered who all is going to this festival?
I know a few for sure, but it'd be cool to all kinda get our names up here, and maybe we could plan on meeting somewhere...
Maybe an early show on friday, or Ekoostik Hookah or Sound Tribe on Thursday night???

No, sorry I'll be on vacation. It sucks so bad.. Wakarusa is definately one of the highlights of the festival season though.

 

We will be there!!!! Got our tickets today and can't hardly wait until next week!!!

 

People_lovr, you know I'm there. I think I finished my pre fest shopping list today, but I'm suer something else will come up.

Ill be there! its right in my backyard, so of course I will...... been planning this for 3 months!

 

Im not sure when I will be there though....... it all depends on my work schedule.

 

We will be there early Thursday afternoon. I just finished a new skirt and top so I will be all ready to party down!! :sunglasse

 

I should be there Thursday afternoon, 2-4 pm. I just got a new tent, but I don't think I will ware it.

My girlfriend and I will be there Thursday ready to get down. We are heading out there all the way from the east coast and are really excited about the trip. i cant believe we are leaving in less than a week!!!crazy how it snuck up on us!!!Anyways if anyone wants to meet up and party down, it would be alot of fun . How does this sound:

There is a 24 hour coffee shop which will be operating on the festival grounds, outside the concert stage area, across the road from the General Store.
Everyone from the forums who will be arriving on Thursday and wants to meet just come to the coffeehouseat 10:30 (that's between performances of the Benevento/Russo Duo and Moonshine Still) and wear something purple.

Oh yeah Justbob, i think we may leave even earlier on thursday. I might not have to work a 1/2 day! YAY!

I'm sure i can find something purple. Might be hard for some of the guys, but just go to Salvation Army and pick up a purple tee-shirt or flannel or something. Shit after we all meet up you could give it to some chilly girl who would really appreciate it.
spreadhead sorry i hadn't even replied to your hookah post, but i think it would prolly be better to meet between acts anyway. Ya think?

Cloudy for the most part, rain chance is below 14% so far, but you know it will rain at some time. Looks like it will be humid. Nothing new for me in FL. Temps look like they will stay in the low 80s.

Here in FL its in the low 90s every day, and at 4pm it rains. Never fails. Always very humid, so this will be a welcome change.

I have nothing purple, and I don't think the meet will work. For those of us who are going to be in the music tent, I don't think it will be a fast trip to the coffee house. Not to mention we will all want to talk and stuff. How about the same time of meet, but at the sound board in the Revival Tent?

I can't miss Moonshine!!!

people_lovr(Reanna), thats great to hear. Be sure to call me when you get in and we can figure an easy way to get your stuff to my site. Now you don't have to worry about missing Hookah!!!

Well i'm down for whatever guys. If everyone wants to do the coffehouse thing except Justbob we could do it and than head over to the tent and meet up w/ bob there. I guess the more music we see the better though, right?

It would be easy to find everybody at the sound board, and we could still do the purple thing...

... morisonfreak, i just made a new outfit too for the fest. I was gonna try to sell it but it's too damn cute. I have to wear it(hehe)!!!

 

The reason for the sound board in the tent thing is from the Waka forum. One of the guys from the forum has a lot of us meeting at the sound board for the Speakeasy show. Better known as the WTF Speakeasy get together. Thats on Friday, and it sounded like a lot of the people were going to make it to that.

I thought why not meet same place on Thursday for hip forums. I just can't miss moonshine, and being at the coffee house I know I will.

The soundboard sounds like as good a place as any to meet. I suggested the coffeeshop only because we might have a better chance of actually getting to hear each other talk when we meet. I may go back and forth between the two - start at the coffeshop then go to the soundboard, etc.).

 

Well i don't know where everyone else is, but it looks like we'll all just be at the soundboard or coffeeshop around 10:30 w/ something purple on. I'm sure we'll find each other eventually!

Yay!!!!! My friend that's going with me from Michigan just landed at the Denver International Airport. WooHoo!
