Ooo, Tom Waits is awesome! I've got a song by him on a mix cd....forget what it's called, but I love it!
I can't say what my favorite song is, but favorite albums are Small Change, Rain Dogs, Heart of Saturday Night......I think, but its hard to even say, they all have their moments I think the saddest, and maybe most powerful is Invitation to the Blues
I wouldn't say he's "groovy", but definitely cool. My favorite album is Closing Time, but also own Rain Dogs.. which I have a harder time getting into.
hey deadheadgo right on ahead bro. i'm looking for any good albums of his. i just checked out "Nighthawks at the Diner" @ the library which has a couple good #'s on it. haven't listened to much of his stuff...but man am i diggin it! Penny: just where does cool step on groovy's toes, or where does groovy cross the line of being cool?hmm?
