i vote no never. i never have and never will. it's a joke. it's all set up and it just makes the people feel like they have control when nothing they vote for really matters. it's already set up and decided.
it's a waste of time imo.

voting is a fucking waste of time.

the same people have been running things for hundreds of years and voting isn't going to change that. it's like the south park episode. you wanna vote for a douche or a turd? I'll pass.

I always vote. Not that my vote counts for a WHOLE lot but I do think that every vote does count.

I vote, because frankly I don't believe some shadow group has controlled all the governments of the western world for the past few centuries. If you can't even spend the 5min it takes to vote, you don't deserve to complain, even if you live in a place where it's obvious the votes are rigged and someone gets elected with 92% of the vote, the fact is you should have the willpower to at least go up and show some interest in the politics of your country.

We were in the process of moving into a new home in a different county and missed the voters registration deadline which would have allowed us to vote in that particular upcoming county election.

The vote totals for the office of county sheriff were so close that the losing candidate requested a recount. When all was said and done, the new sheriff won by only 1 vote.

I can remember my Dad saying to me, "Never doubt that your vote counts. This election proves it!"

After all, if my husband and I had been registered to vote, we could have changed the outcome of the election with our 2 votes - and the losing candidate could have been the winning one. Simple as that.

    That always stuck with me.
