Was reminded about this in another thread, and wanted to remind everyone that wants pot legalized, it will be your State Reps that can work on that for you, so check 'em out!
Had to read this one. So... Fyrenza... I take it you are voting green all the way down the ticket? It's the only party that is interested in legalizing MJ.
I tend to not vote for any incumbent. Why should they feel their job is secure. I am tired of convicted congressional felons recieving life long pensions in the six digits, while I toil and am not guarranteed anything.
I want the same restrictions on politicians as are now imposed on the workers. Convicted of a felony you have no rights. Get elected, that doesn't mean you reap an entitlement retirement. You haven't really earned it. If employees of factories can't count on their retirement benefits, after 20 years why should politicians think they are entitled directly after election with no years or no track record.. Doesn't that strangle free enterprise? We are supposed to believe we can't enlist the best without exhorbitant salaries and outrageous benefits...but off shore corporations have played that hand since Reagan, as justification for breaking unions and undermining workers rights. Not buying it this time!
