I wen tot my local hardware store and found they only had VM&P Naphtha (Varnish Makers and Paniters). Do you think this is regular naphtha just with a extra name or has extra stuff in it?
v and p napthta is the real deal- as i remember reading it is the preferered naptha to be used, no additives. But to be sure read the label- ingredients, if it says the only ingredient is naphta or napthta 100% then its all good. To be absolutly certain pour a small amount onto a dish and wait for it to evaporate ( it will evaporate quickly)- if there is residue left then it had had something added to it. just curious what are you using it for?
