You migth say that I'm feequent user of Visine...I might be stoned but I don't wanna look it, especially with respect to work and to the veiwing public in general. So anyway, what I'm asking is, "can frequent use of Visine cause eye and/or vision problems", like,..... are the capiaries I my eyes gonna like melt or something,... could I develope permanent red eye or what... Sorry if this is a repeat topic but I ain't doin a search for nuttin, I alway come up empty.
visine should only be used max up to 4 times a day. it says so on the box. as for symptoms of chronic usage, i don't know for sure, but i could venture a few guesses at it. 1) overusage may cause your eyes to become irritated and even more red 2) you may develop a dependence on visine to where your eyes would stay inflammed until you added eyedrops... etc..blah blah blah..........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
well since its not part of the mind that the chemical acts on, i dont think you would gain a dependance on it. Its a localised area wihtout the changing abilities of the brain, so it shoudlnt gain tolerance. I think yeh it could irritate eyes more, it might not be able to make the eye blood vessels softer, but it prolly can make your eyes stop watering, leaivng you with dry eyes.
try opthcon A it works a million time better then visine you only have to use it once and ur good for the entire day it gets rid of red eye literly in seconds
I use visine frequently, and I have no problems with it, 1-2 drops in your eyes can keep em white for hours, even if u keep smokin.
