Man, I love tie dye. I make my own shirts an' even have a couple pairs of pants I dyed. I think its quite a good way to express ones feelings or artistic side.

as a Dead Head. I only own 2 shirts that are TD. Ive never had more than 2 all my dead years.. they can be good when your trying to hide the filth..

 

nesta, u always right dawg. tie dye as apparel is tacky as hell.

though I used to know this hippie named Fred who made some pretty insane tie dye tapestries. They would normally always be monochromatic. Non of that rainbow bullshit.
He could use the dye and rubber band method to make the hangings look like a mixture between a space/galaxy/star scape along with the usual kaleidoscopic style. He would usually make the design culminate into the center which gave it an intense worm hole effect. Noone else could make tie dye more ethereal than Fred could. RIP Hippy Fred!
