Peace fleet may be comin in that direction. Plz join if u'd like water tribes peace fleet facebook group. This is a group of like-minded individuals livin on sailboats th rainbow way. Some of these rainboats have already done dec21 maya ruins gig. & some are as we speak cruisin &/or already near vicinitybof ocala gathering in florida. It'd be cool if some of these folls could continue this voyage north. I'm attemptin 2 contact individuals who may dare a south carolina gig near th coast @ francis marion nf. Perhaps 4/20, &/or beltane dependin on how th winds blow. Perhaps a month +- after that in ur vicinity. This wouldn't hafta be a giant gig.
So far i see nothing in the way of doing the c&o canal/potomac rvr. It's a bike path/canoe,&/or kayak paddle linking the atlantic ocean to the ohio rvr. It's also a national park which is somewhat limiting in there r no motor vehicles allowed. But there may be parallel roads 2 it where off road vehicles could biatboat-haul. & this being unusual 4 natl parks, there r free overnight campgrounds for hikers or canoers. Most natl parks charge or don't allow camping. Altho c&o may charge an entrance fee. I havent looked into that.
I'm in Virginia but I'm next to West Virginia.. there is some family here but its all small pockets. Missin' my family! Haven't been to a national since '06!!
