Who wants to become a Viking.....?
Travelling on Horse back returning to your wenches side (if you're a man) and enjuring a large feast gulping from a goblet before confronting 'Thor' the almighty God........And having long wavy hair and beards that are platted. Believing in Runes and their Almighty Power......Hmm.....But no blood thursty battles, only in triumphant Long Boats........

 

me me me!! i wanna quaff flaggons of ale... or perhaps custard. did the vikings have custard?

Do we all get issued with standard weaponry such as plastic 'He-Man' style swords. and 'Nurf' guns for crossbows and can we rent a big boat out and playfight on it all day and drink ale (surely the closest thing to Mead or Grog or whatever it was the vikings drank )

and I'm sure all women had beards back in the viking days right??

Swords and crossbows are for girls. The Viking weapon of choice is the good old impossibly-heavy axe. Sharp, menacing, impossibly heavy and if looks so damn good if you can swing it right.


And for the record, Vikings didn't really have that good a life. Let's put it this way. Think of a Viking warrior. What do you see? A huge, coarse, muscly man with a huge beard, a growling voice and an appetite for pillaging and general destruction?


Well, their wives were twice as bad.

That's why the Vikings were always at sea conquering other lands. It got 'em away from 'er indoors for a bit.
