I have recently found a way to get a lot of vicodin. I was wondering a couple of things about it. This person said they were 500mg...how many of these should I take and what effect would it give me???

Also, do they show up on drug tests? My mom's test shows up for opiates, cocaine, methamphetamines, and THC. Would it produce a positive in any of those areas, and if so, how long would it take before I could pass the test?

Thanks for any info you can give.

There is NO 500 mg Vicodin. Vicodin is hydrocodone/acetaminophen, which is available under many brand names and generics. The strengths available are:
    2.5/500, 5/325, 5/400, 5/500, 7.5/325, 7.5/400, 7.5/500, 7.5/750, 10/325, 10/400, 10/500, 10/650, 10/660, and 10/750.

FIRST OFF - you need to identify the tablets you can get, see what they really are!

The acetaminophen (Tylenol) (the second strength listed on each one) can be hard on your liver. Do not drink alcohol with it. Do not exceed 1500mg in any 6 hour period OR 4000 mg per 24 hours!

With the narcotic (hydrocodone), the dose depends on your weight, and your experience with painkillers. 10 mg should be a decent dose in a normal size adult.

Hydrocodone IS an opiate, and will produce a positive test result for opiates. After a single exposure, you would probably only test positive for 3 days, but up to a week. For chronic use, 7 to 14 days.

    BE CAREFUL!

Hydrocodone is addictive, and (like all narcotics) causes respiratory depression. When mixed with other drugs or alcohol, the respiratory depression is increased, up to and including respiratory failure (death).

Vicodin is an opiate, therefore if an opiate is being tested for, it will show up. As for how long it takes to clear your system; well, everybody has a different metabolism, but it should be similar to THC.

I hadn't planned on mixing it with anything. I'll check and see what mg they are, I guess she saw the ?/500.

What about xanax? Would that show up on the drug test?

not if the test is only screening for the items you listed, but Xanax and Vicodin potentiate each other (ie, they make the drowsiness and respiratory depression increase)
