do you prefer to watch movies on VHS or DVD? i've always preferred VHS. i grew up with them, and i thought it was ridiculous when they decided to stop making them and replace them with the much-less-durable DVDs. like, first they replaced vinyl, and now they replaced VHS. i don't get it. the former were so much better, in my opinion. what do you think?
DVD's have much better sound and picture quality. Plus they don't wear out nearly as fast and vcr's don't eat them.
dude are you kidding me.. dvds are so much better.. as long as you take care of them and dont throw them around like frizbees your fine.. VHS tapes degrade over time.. the picture and sound were on the surface of the tape.. if you play them a lot it wears off
i kind of like the worn out look that videos get. i mean, yeah..dvds are nice with their crystal clear images and whatnot. but i prefer the older, worn in look for some reason.
other then the fact that VHS are cheap as fuck cause they suck(i always go through the 1-4$ VHS deals at blockbuster and age of video). DVDs are alot better. what do you mean grew up with your 16, DVDs have been the better choice for about 5+ years now...

I just like old machines - I've still got a zx spectrum somwhere (!) vhs is good cos you get the glitches here and there - like playing a vinyl record plus there are somethings you can only find on vhs.DVD is great for watching porn cos of the still/time lapse button,infact I think that was the main inspiration behind their invention!
yea funny most people i meet who were actually around when all there was were records, they f'in hate them and laugh at sixteen year olds who go buy records to be cool. snap crackle pop. records are ghey. but not near as ghey as vhs's. how many minutes of your life are you going to spend waiting for that thing to rewind?
The new nintendo is supposed to be able to download every nintendo game from nes to n64. I juist use emulators though.
