It all looks good on paper - it's always the 'paying' for it part that the government can't figure out. It always costs more (a lot more) than the govt initially projects.
I think you need some combination of both public and private options. This is why I was open to some type of public option for the U.S. I'm seeing that in a more private system like the U.S has you need some type of public option for those struggling financially. In more socialized systems they seem to need more private options to relieve the load on their gov't systems.
