Theres a sticky at the top of the forum that states even edited urls are not allowed. Come on guys, the amount of vendor disscussion going on here is rediculous, if you want these sources to stay around dont post even vague details on places like HF. I urge anyone who wants to keep things safe as can be for the venders to use the report button when threads or posts pop up. End of rant
"vague details on places like HF" Psstt. You just did it. You spelled vendor two different ways too. My vendor loves when I get him more customers. Scam vendors love it when we get them more potential customers.
There wouldn't be 1/5 of the threads if we didn't talk about vendors its a vital part. Why do you care anyway?
I personally wish there was a provision here to at least let us discuss vendors with dodgy product - or those who don't deliver at all. That could help keep bad or mislabled batches from possibly harming unwitting buyers. And not to mention those scam artists who never deliver and continue to thrive precisely because there is no public forum to expose them. Some of these skunks have been around forever, and it's usually hard to easily determine their legitimacy - apart from the fact that they've been around forever. After getting burnt recently, I'm pretty frustrated that I can't tell anyone here. I'm pretty experienced with SEO and I'm very tempted now to try to bring down my rip-off vendor by ensuring anyone googling for his products sees my web page pointing out that this vendor is a ripoff.
I think if you're receiving product, and your happy with it, don't discuss their name openly on here. That's pretty straight forward shit. Like fuck cummon already. If you want to discuss things then make it private in PM's etc. I can't believe some of these threads. Do people not realize that LE is trying to stop this kinda shit. Some of you must have NO experience with drugs in the real world. Even though your sitting behind your desk in your cumfy chair, these are still DRUGS. If you want your vendors to be happy with you bringing them more customers, then someone please PM me a good source who has good bulk prices, I've pm'ed a few people with no luck, and I don't blame them for not sharing their source with me, but I have absolutely no way of knowing who to trust here. Is a moderator needed in this section? I'll volunteer. I'm already the founder and Admin of a different forum, but it's dying down now, and this place needs some order. There should be one thread, where people can name off a bullshit source they've dealt with, and only if they're sure it's bullshit. That should be all this section openly discusses about vendors. If that drops the amount of threads by 4/5ths who gives a fuck?!
^Wow a guy with 2 post wants to be moderator? And clean this forum up? Sorry just sounds funny. “I'm already the founder and Admin of a different forum, but it's dying down now,” Ghee I wonder why? "If that drops the amount of threads by 4/5ths who gives a fuck?!" So now you want to take over and make this place “die down”? I am sure scammers can would love to make a username and PM people there email and payment instructions. About vendor info it’s good to have some warning if someone is a scammer. If you are worried about LE finding out about these vendors. I hate to break it to you but LE has google and I’m sure they know how to use it and I’m sure they know much more about vendors that advertise on google then any of us do. They use tax money to operate I’m sure they have ordered from all of them. Just my 2 cents. Yea I only have 2 posts also but I’m not trying to take over and change things. .
^^^Doesn't mean you should discuss subjects that could be considered illegal and/or would get you or a vendor in legal problems on a public forum.
^I am not saying anything should or should not be discussed it is a very touchy subject and if it is discussed I think it should be discussed very carefully. I just wanted to comment on the new Sheriff application above my post. I do think if all discussion is obliterated that scammers will thrive. :-( just a sad fact. .
If anything I think the best solution would be to hide this area of the forum from the people who makes sharing vendors publically a crime in the first place. So many people come here for a couple of posts, try and score a vendor, and then are never back again. If anything the best idea in my mind would make this openly available for specially picked people who are obviously dedicated to this forum, maybe it would help or maybe it wouldn't, hell I'm not even going to try and make it happen, but while we are on the subject this in my eyes would be the only reasonable idea to get rid of what you guys are bitching about.
Whatever man, just offering my time in case no one else was. Guy above me said that this section wasn't frequented by moderators, so I just offered to help out in that sense...never said anything about taking over.... My point was if it cuts down the amount of threads, then whatever, at least they won't be threads that are careless and bringing open heat to your precious sources. I'm sure they're already out there, but they're should be private forums that discuss this kinda stuff, invite only. Actually I know they're out there somewhere, I just don't know anyone over the internet who's into this stuff. My forum is slowing down for me because I've sold my car, and so did a couple other buddies. It's a tight group of people...but it's winter, and the car scene dies down a bit in the winter... I agree with you that if all discussion is stopped then it creates a scam happy scenario , and I already stated the way I think discussion should work. I only mentioned my forum so that it wouldn't seem like I was just some 15 year old kid wanting to run shit.... ad a little credibility. I haven't even checked into the way this forum is ran, how many mods there already are for which sections and whatnot. I just read buddy's post, and I agree with him, so I offered if there's need. I only actually started reading this forum a week ago lol. Yeh, LE has google, but why make it easier for them?
If you are careless then there are serious consequences. Other then life limiting imprisonment you could end up getting many sources closed or unreachable because of impatient kids wanting to get rich/high. If you would stop lurking for the hand outs of info and actually use your brain you would find out how fucking easy it is to find anything you want. All you have to do think. If you have to post info about suppliers names or their company's then you are a selfish asshole.
the sources don't care if they're found in a few corners of the internet. maybe a little bit, but not as much as you think. these guys want money. the main thing they're concerned about is a bunch of little bastards demanding samples or cheap product and trying to blackmail them on the baiss of fake scam reviews and reports to law enforcement. if they're approached under the right circumstances they will most likely want to do business. the presence of vague names on hipfourms doesn't do much harm as i'm sure the government already knows what they want to know without having to read our stuff. i have a feeling they got tired of doing that years ago... there are much more secure rings they are attempting to infiltrate. at the end of the day there will always be more busts, and it will be the large scale suppliers and rings who go down. it always works that way, whether you're dealing with remote suppliers or hustling downtown. the advantage with online sales is that there is no element of state or city law enforcement to crack down on small time suppliers and individual customers (like they do with street sales). the feds will only chalk up enough resources to get the big guys, the rest of us are relatively safe to experiment with these sources. the worst thing you'll get is one of those 'love letters' from uncle sam saying you have the right to come and claim your illegal goods in the mail... if you wish to. if you refuse to claim it the case will not be carried forward.
A private forum with open discussion is a great idea, but we should at least start a thread that lists known scammers.
