Hia, Been vegetarian for a year n a half, im a student n lately been havin some money trouble (slight understatement!) Cos iv not much money iv been stuck with the same few meals over n over n wonderin if anyone has any tips on tasty, but CHEAP, veggie delights!
container of cubed tofu 1.99 * bag of fresh frozed stir-fry veggies 1.19 * *(thats how much I pay here anyway) add some lo-main noodle some soy sauce or any type of (healthy) stir-fry sauce sprinkle on some sesame seeds and you've got a yummi inexpensive meal and next-day-leftover-lunch we have this meal often and love it! experiment with different sauces and it gives it a whole different taste every time Also sometimes we have soy hot dogs with vegetarian baked beans and organic mac & cheese for a real cheap quick meal. we usually stalk up on these ingredients so I can whip it up quick when we don't have time for a hugh meal.
The "Munchies" forum has a "Vegetarian" sub-forum. You should be able to find some variety there. (However, this forum has more traffic than that one. Interesting problem for the moderators.)
