    Hey what's going down everybody?

Well first off, I'm technically a Pescatarian, so protein shouldn't be a problem.
But I only eat fish once a week, if even that. Plus, too much fish isn't healthy because of the level of mercury it contains.

Aaaanywhom, I'm sure alot of you fellow Vegetarians have some yummy dishes that contain your daily servings of protein, please share.

I usually will eat a hard-boiled egg, with some Trail mix on the side, and wish it down with some milk afterwards.

Our need to fret about protein is usually a myth
Do you know anyone whose ever had a protein deficiency? Ever?
Amino acids are in all living foods
Mix and match a bit and voila, you have your daily protein intake
If youre eating fish and eggs, you have absolutely nothing to worry about most certainly!
Other high protein foods for you are of course anything coming form an animal, nuts, soy and legumes, quinoa, seeds, sprouted grains, sprouted seeds (all sprouts!) oils and certain green veggies

Honestly, my advice would be dont sweat it. It is of course important to stay healthy and do your research with veggie/veganism, and its great you are, but protein is one thing that is worried about FAR too much, when theres very rarely a need, and in your case there certainly isnt

    Good luck!

In the west especially, we are told to eat huge amounts of protein, because we are somebody else's slaves. They like us well fed. So we can pull hard when we're told to. :)

I eat about half the protein of an average person in the US, because I am nobody's slave.

i agree, if you eat eggs you're fine.

when i need protein i usually go for a peanut butter sandwich, but sometimes i'll cook some scrambled eggs with tofu and onions. that will give you enough protein to not just get through the day but to work out too =P

if you dont feel like that though theres always rice and beans. mexican places are usually awesome for that =D i like the bean burritos at a place near me, they use black beans instead of refried.
