Vegemite - Love it or hate it?

despite the theme song being possibly the queerest lyrics ever written, i must say vegemite wins hands down in my house.
Don't like Marmite or Promite at all.

It is amazing how many people come in here who are not from Australia.Nothing wrong with that I suppose.
Anyway as a good healthy omni I have it on toast some of the time.It can add a bit of zing to casseroles and gravies.
The only thing I don't like about Vegemite is that it is owned by Phillip Morris.

Vegemite is in New Zealand too... Its totally the best. I'm not a fan of marmite. A lot of people are like "there's no difference" but its like pepsi and coke. there's a very big difference and vegemite totally wins.

Awww man when i lived in ausie i was a vegemite girl, comeing back to the uk i became a marmite girl... or if it comes to it Bovril (cheaper marmite). I like them all but Jaycee wont kiss me if ive eaten any :S

 

i love my vegemite on toat...i have a tolerance for promite in its strange way....

mmm i eat vegemite probs six out of seven days...i gave some to my family in america to try (and milo) only one person liked it...but everyone liked milo...milo rocks!!!

I was in Australia last summer, I think Vegemite is okay in small doses on toast.

 

yeah vegemite rock on!!! Its such a beautiful thing, however i can only handle it in small doses,, well actually i have it on a sandwich 5 days a week, hehehe rock on vegemite even if it a corporate product. Vibes.

 

i still don't like it, i'd prefer spreading hair gel on stuff...seriously

 

I grew up on the stuff just like every other kid. I'm sure my eldest brother was named after the vegemite kid in 1978. In the commercial had a shirt on that said "Ben", so I guess they thought that was pretty cute.Vegemite is nice with cheese as a sandwich!
