Vegan mints (Ya know, like altoids, but without the marrow)

Recently discovered that altoids have gelatin in them! Gross! (Though, I feel silly for not having thought of/recognized it sooner) Anyone know of another, maybe similar, nice and strong mint we can keep in the car the same way?

 

Newman's Own makes some pretty killer mints, and they come in an altoid-esque tin. They come in different flavors (I think there's even a ginger flavor). They are vegan.

 

Hmm, haven't seen them in our reg. grocery... But I'll definitely check next time we trek to Wild Oats! Thanks!

 

And if Wild Oats don't have em, I bet you can have them special order them for you. I work in a health food store and we do that for people all the time

 

These mints called Vermints. They're made in Vermont and are organic and vegan. They sell them at Whole Foods and I think at Wild Oats (though our Wild Oats has been bought by whole foods, but not yet changed their name...so I am not sure if Wild Oats its self still carries them)
