Recently discovered that altoids have gelatin in them! Gross! (Though, I feel silly for not having thought of/recognized it sooner) Anyone know of another, maybe similar, nice and strong mint we can keep in the car the same way? :)

Newman's Own makes some pretty killer mints, and they come in an altoid-esque tin. They come in different flavors (I think there's even a ginger flavor). They are vegan.

And if Wild Oats don't have em, I bet you can have them special order them for you. I work in a health food store and we do that for people all the time :)

These mints called Vermints. They're made in Vermont and are organic and vegan. They sell them at Whole Foods and I think at Wild Oats (though our Wild Oats has been bought by whole foods, but not yet changed their name...so I am not sure if Wild Oats its self still carries them)
