My lil boy is a fussy eater and I'd like to find some new simple vegetarian recipes or ideas or whatever. So if any you folks know of some good tried and true foods that kids will actually eat help me out
www.vegweb.com has a bunch of different recipes including a category called 'food that kids love'. you might want to check that out.
how young? For arlo at 3-6 I served: hippie fingers (tempeh fried in a pan and served with my own sweetened mustard) Alien Brains (artichokes) potato wedges (also sweet potato wedges) with cranberry sauce (I make a ton and freeze) squeaky beans (stir fried but still squeaky {duh} with smoky sauce) junk in a pita. somehow it worked roll anything in a tortilla. salad, esp fruit trees (guess) I found he would eat beans if they were mashed only. so I'd mash his (or give him the tool to squish his own) okra. I can't stand it but he loves it. anything on a pizza crust. Zucchini -carrot-beet whole wheat pizza anyone?
