does anyone use a vaporizer? Ive heard they are good and they dont generate any smell and that they also creat a stronger, smoother hit. I just made one using a lightbulb and some other stuff but i cant use it yet cuz i have no bud.. seems pretty tight, anyone else have used them or know about them

i've got an i-vape, which is almost identical in style and function to the vapor brothers lines....i love it.....however, it DOES create smell when you exhale (even if it's less smell than smoke would make) and i still cough like a bastard when i hit it sometimes....it may be less harmful, but its not just like breathing in air....if you get a good hit, you can still choke on it a bit...

i like it because it generates less smell, and also creates far fewer nasty elements than smoking (it takes MUCH longer to resonate the tube you breathe through for a vape than it takes to coat a bowlpiece....) and it also gives me far more use out of the same amount of grass than a pipe or joint or bong will usually allow for.

a cheap vaporizer, though, will waste pot like nothing else. avoid any vapes that have the bubble dome bullshit on top, and homemade vaporizers have never worked well for me....both cheap and homemade vaporizers tend to end up burning the pot anyhow, and the bubble shaped vapes also tend to waste vapor...

Yeah if your in the market for a vaporizer you have to see it as an investment because a good quality device will probably cost you upwards from CAN$300. Completely worth every penny.
Also note that a vape isn't very mobile, so if your just an 'on the go' or 'party' type stoner it probably isn't for you.

Personally I think if you can afford one you def. need to pick up a vaporizer. I dont even smoke much anymore because I'm ALWAYS vaping out of my volcano.. which one of the more pricey vapes. This thing is simply amazing though: best high ever, no tar, minimal smell (it does get a little stinky), best high ever, etc. ;) I def think people should take the higher and healthier route... the only problem is that its not very portable at all.

i just scraped the metal plunger from my volcano and have been smoking that. it's like hash, kinda. tears me apart. i just wind up putz-ing around for hours afterwards.

and awhile ago, I made ganja cake with the vaped remains, too. i didnt weigh it or anything, but had been saving up for a while. it worked pretty fucking well.

you really DO get the most outta any pot when using the volcano. *heart*

yeah, its true that a vaporizer significantly cuts down on the amount of nasties you're inhaling along with the cannabinoids, but you still witness a buildup of a kind of residue when using a vaporizer. in a vapor brothers style vaporizer this is readily apparent in the article known as the whip; with use it gets very dark brown. apparently something similar collects on the much more expensive vaporiser called the volcano....i've not used one and don't know much about them, so i don't know if it's readily apparent in the apparatus but apparently it does collect...

anyway, this stuff isn't the same as resin from a regular pipe. this kind of resin takes a LONG time to build up, but when you have enough to smoke it you generally get pretty torn up....

the high of this kind of resin is as good, imo, to the high of good marijuana. its not like the second rate already-been-burned-up resin....
