Vampire Kisses by Ellen Schreiber

Just wondering if anyone has read this book. I personally read it sometime last year after my girlfriend of the time told me it really helped her out of a depression she went through when she was younger. I remember always wanting to find a girl like Raven in the story. Strangely enough I managed to do just that, the simmilarities are uncanny. Right now I am in the process of reading it over again to her. Just thought I would ask.
