You knew it was coming ladies.... What are you guys making your boys and girls for Valentines? Any ideas for a lost chicka who wants to do something sweet for her man So Far I've come up with a really cheese idea of making a tshirt that says " I <3 Daniel" and wearing it all day... sounds a bit full on, its meant to be though
i just like to make homemade cards sometimes i doctor a store card espescially crossing out sappy and writing kinky lol
I'm knitting my boyfriend a big deep red scarf, I wasnt going to do anything but he saw some of my yarn and said he relaly liked it.
It's not for anyone I know, it's actually for sale, but I made this grocery tote with Valentine's Day in mind. My valentine and I have our anniversary just a few days after the 14th, so v-day has never been big on our list of agendas.
Yeah me and my boyfriend don't do a whole lot for valentines... usually we just smoke the day away... so its all good, right?
my boyf doesn't believe in Valentines day, partly because he thinks it's another way for the card companies to get money from us and also because he doesn't think we should all celebrate love on one day a year.....celebrate it all year! So we won't be doing anything, but I always give my mum a home made card and she makes one for me.
We don't do anything major...I'm baking a heart shaped chocolate cake for my 3 valentines and cooking a nice dinner.... I will make them all cards.
I'm not all that creative when it comes to valentines day... I'm making my hubby a basket of sweets and some naughty items to have fun with... we're not into gifts all that much this time of year but this'll be a bit fun.
ok girls. im in need of help. i want to do something really special for my girlfriend but im not sure what to do. ive written her a song and wanted to put it onto cd for her but i cant get the recording time. any ideas?
I've been hard at work on my valentine's day gifts! My bf is really sentimental, so I've gathered as many pictures of us as i could find and other momentos (concert tickets, movie tickets, etc.)and put together a really nice, sparkly scrapbook filled with love quotes, stickers, rub ons and transparents. I left PLENTY of blank pages so that we can fill them in together I also made him a t-shirt that says "Avant Surrealist" because he describes the art he does as a mix between avant guardism and surrealism. I also want to make him another t-shirt...but I'm still trying to decide what I want to put on it. My nickname for him is "sexypants" so I thought maybe I'd put that on a t-shirt in another language. I'm really excited to give them to him...but...I have to wait. I'm not a very patient person! We don't typically celebrate holidays really, but we just agreed to make eachother gifts...I like home-made gifts
that scrap book idea is the best. id love that if it was done for me. trust me you'll have a great valentines day
ok so ive decided to play it to her live. to show her my home village of five oak green in the garden of england where i grew up. there is a beautiful little spot by the river with a rope swing over the river down a quiet hidden path. its the kind of place you'd expect to see pixies and fairies. its very beautiful.
i'm making my boy a homemade card out of red ricepaper stuff, heart-shaped doilies, glitter, etc. also im making heart shaped scotch cookies with pink and red frosting, a small pie (haha), and i'm making a flip book of our relationship with stick people changing and seasons changing and stuff. i hope he likes it. i'm probably going to frame a picture or two of us too, and i'll buy him a bear. i'll probably fix his pj's i made him for christmas too. haha.
Honestly, I lost all faith in valentines day until I came here... I always thought it was an overly commercialized holiday that had no real romantic quality because romance should be about special though, and spontenuity. I don't think a guy taking his girlfriend or whateevr out to a candlelit dinner on V-day is romantic because it is expected of him... I am sure there are others who agree... However, I am surprised to see that many of you have come up with ideas for valentines day that do not lose the romantic aspect of it. Kudos to you all! I will probably not refuse to celebrate the day now!
