VA get-together

I've read the complaints about my city Richmond and Virginia in general and I can agree with most of it, except the boring part. The way I see it is there's a lack of community. I'd guess that we're members here because we want to connect with other like-minded folks. It's difficult in Virginia to make this connection for many reasons but it can be done. What do the rest of you think of gathering together?

it's a ways off but Phil is playing Charlottesville October 13th and Baltimore the 16th if anyone's interested in meeting up/hanging out at the show.

 

Heyy. I'd love to meet up with Virginia folks. I vote for Charlottesville not only for it's awesomeness but it's centralness.

I know there are more of us here. I'm back for today, come on up to West Virginia to the regional gathering. It's near Richwood, it's pretty sweet (but small right now).

When are we planning this get together we gots 'a goin?

So it looks like we've got tree hugger from Roanoke, Psychadelik from NoVa, me from Richmond and Charlottesville is looking like a central meeting point, which suits Advaya. Is Charlottesville agreeable to everyone else? What do y'all think of meeting up for the Phil show the 13th of October?

 

I'm good with Charlottesville but if somewhere else is better for people that's fine too. I'm actually located in Lexington, so I'm not far from Roanoke either. I'm okay with NoVa but bad at the traffic!

I think there's supposed to be a Bob Dylan concert in Charlottesville sometime this month.

apologies tree-hugger, didn't mean to leave you in the dark. i meant phil lesh and friends but if folks are going to see Dylan, his show is the 27th at UVA. have a great time. i'll be at work.

Northern VA has the WORST traffic and it's overpopulated...it's such a sucky place to live

Psychadelik i lived in Alexandria and Fairfax and soon after College Park. i know all about the traffic and the lovely metro. the green line was two blocks away.

 

does anyone have a date or dates in mind for this? it'll probably have to be over the weekend for me.

 

I'm a recent reisedent to Richmond and just looking for some connections. I'm down for whatever ya'll come up with...
