Guy, I apoligized to her and IF you know what I'm talking about in reference to her story, you'd know I meant I was wrong in not believing her story. Meaning her mother, with her mental problems, was very capable of the making the comments I refer to. It was more or less a private message to her. I should have made it a PM instead.

And as far as the liberal thing. She originally stated she was NOT a liberal. I just pointed out what she HAS in her profile. What's so bad about that??

And yes acga5, people are very friendly here when they agree with you, very nasty when they don't.

This is a political thread is it not? Are we allowed to dissagree with people or must we all just do the sheeple nod. All this talk of banning people comes from the ones who are supposedly so protective of "free speech". I'm learning that some only want to protect speech they agree with, and ban the speech they disagree with.

 

Yeah, that's about it. The national committees offer the general public either Coke or Pepsi. Then everyone has a big fight over which is supposedly better and much different than the other.

I stated I wasn't a Democrat... I am Liberal though... A liberal? Depends if you think a democrat and a liberal are the same thing.
I don't associate myself with the two main parties... though I admit I lean towards Democrats if my only other choice is Republicans. But I consider myself very much liberal.

I got the necklace pendant. Just to let you know, only the upside down "Y" is a piece of the fence. The outer ring is not. Yes, I believe they are actually from the Woodstock fence as the guys who make them live in Bethel, NY (site of the concert). They send you a certificate of authenticity (for what it's worth). The black coating wears off after a while but if you keep it clean it will be OK. I'm a big buff of the film and albums. To own a peice of history is very cool. I'm going to make a trip to Bethel this summer and visit the site.

I know its fucked up but it happens, personally I would kill the bastard but I see why the fuck did it. If anyone has read The Things They Carried they know, its the fucked up things they witness that makes them act so insane.

 

I disagree to a certain extent. Some of the military that pull this shit, haven't seen any atrocities yet, in fact they are standing around bored. They do it because there is a certain percentage of young males that get their jollies through killing and other behaviors that are not considered allowable in civilized societies. But put them in uniform and give them permission to kill...and see what sort of behavior they take part in when there are no civilized restraints to guide them. Boys will be boys!

 

That makes a lot of sense, there are some fucked up people in the military!
