US-Iran in the midst of a cold war.

i keep on getting the feeling that this is a cold war with Russia being thrown into the mix... anyone with me.... start diggin the bomb shelters now....

 

Russia's influence in central europe and the middle east has wained, and america is fighting to assert it's influence in these areas. Iran is not really a threat to the USA or the UK. America is trying to intimidate iran, but does it really have the resources to invade?

well Europe is more concerned than US. Jac Chirac PM of France has stated that war may be the only way. i think that its that pre war crap... that always happens... but there will be a war in iran whether or not started by us or Europe or Isreal or Iran

 

Yes, I can't help thinking that america just hasn't got the resources to attack all the countries which it threatens. I'm sure the US public must be sick of their young men coming back with missing limbs. Hasn't US got the greatest national debt?
If i was president of china, i'd be bankrolling islamic miilitants... infact that might be the best job for me, hmmm.
