Billions of dollars spent on border security between Canada and the US...

Stopping the threats that Canada is constantly thrusting on the unsuspecting population of the US...

    This issues threat?

    Kids toys....

    http://www.cbc.ca/canada/manitoba/story/2011/01/10/man-kinder-surprise-border.html

Seriously... When I first read the headline, my thought was that someone started smuggling drugs in them... They do make great weed containers.

Apparently though, its more along the lines that american children don't have the sense to not swallow the bright yellow or orange egg in the center....

I think the real issue is the building of the toys, the can be quite a challenge. ;)

How can someone just desert their kinder surprise at the border and not fight for it!

I am really relieved that border patrols are on top of the really important terrorist issues. :)

I know someone from spokane ,Washinton area that was stopped for 2 hours coming back into the U.S. becasue of hay in the back of his truck. His family have horses and there was a little bit of loose hay still in the bed of his truck, and the border /customs idiots had to searc his truck and all this other shit, because they thought it might be weed!!! Some brown straw hay for horses, which looks and smells and it nothing resembling weed in any way shape or form excpet they both come from plants!! Insane!!

Maybe we should give Canadians the offer of paradise and tell them we can annex them into the US....?

    a) we wouldn't believe you.
    b) we wouldn't agree with what you think of as paradise
    c) why in the fuck would we give up our kinder surprise eggs to join a country of children prone to swallowing things?

The sad thing is theres a place here in town that sells Kinder surprise eggs, it can't be that serious of a problem if stores in the states already carry them.

I think border guards are just pushing there weight around, or maybe I'm wrong and the eggs are a act of terrorism.

Now, that wasnt actually what I was looking for when I found it... I had been reading a story the other day (after posting this thread) about when they were listed as 'hazardous items' that leo's (cant remember which branch) went into the stores and confiscated kinder surprises off the shelf... However... seems I can't find it again, I may have imagined it... lol
