So what if someone that you are only interested in as a friend asks you out on a date but you do not want to lead that person on, yet you desperately need a friend and if you do not say 'yes' then you may never see that person again, and that person seems very cool, also you really respect the way they asked you because most people try to be all smooth and fake about it...I need this answer quickly please
id go on the date but let them know not to expect any hanky panky =) see where it goes from there.................
Ask yourself what you would want someone to do to you if the situation was reversed... I personally would say no to the date, because when someone really likes you even the slightest move can lead them on. Especially if they were brave enough to share their feelings even though you're already friends. That's so hard to do! Treat them with honesty and I'm sure you won't lose a friend.
