Living "up north", I thought I'd share some northen U.S./southern Canada type photos that I or family members have taken. Most are of the outdoors, but sometimes I might veer off course a little. Lol WARNING TO VIEWERS: I hunt and fish not only for the enjoyment, but as a means to provide food for my family and at times friends/neighbors. Some images may be disturbing. If you don't care for such images, please hit your back button now. I'm not here sharing pictures to debate such issues. Also, feel free to share your own photos from "up north", or your own hunting/fishing outings, etc. First up, my parent's back yard. I pretty much lived down on the shoreline while growing up! Lol
The walleye. Probably the most popular fish in northern lakes. The further north you go, the more dark gold and brown they get.
Blugill/sunfish. Very popular amongst anglers of all ages. This is my biggest ever at just shy of 11.5".
The northern pike. Very aggressive with teeth sharp as razor blades. My buddy got this one ice fishing a couple years ago. A nice one, but they get much bigger.
Exiting the narrows and headed on a 10mi drive down the lake. Little islands everywhere above and below the water surface. Have to drive carefully or you'll hit rocks and rip your boat apart.
