Britains weather is much too mild for November. There are still roses growing in my garden and we have only used the central heating on a few days - although we have used it quite a few times on the night
I think this is the most unusual weather I've seen for many years

It's been very warm here in Indiana also. Today's high is forecast to be 67 degrees. I'm enjoying it, but it is unusual for this late in November.

In london its about 10c degrees

(how do you make that degree symbol appear?)

I know that in Britain the plants are confused about which season it is !
so am I - to prune or not to prune that is the question - its all about rose bushes

Yes, Britain has been experiencing an unusually warm November. i was expecting icey cold conditions and all the leaves to be well and truly fallen. But I reckon winter will be late. Come January/february, it will be bitterly cold and the summer will be searingly hot.

where abouts in sk are you, where both in the same boat, windchill is smore like -35 over here though. soposed to be be getting 10 cm of snow today and tomorrow.

The only good thing about this cold snap is I'll be able to pull out the ice fishing gear earlier then usuall, lakes wern't even frozen this time last year.

Well at least we are not alone with you Canadians around. We've not been above 0F(-18C) but a couple of times since the end of October. Our lows have been anywhere from -24F(-31C) to -34F(-37C) all month.

    Mild??

Yikes, this is very unsettling, seeing the subject of the changing weather
patterns arise again. I read a post on the U.K. Forum about one gentleman
who submitted a post about how he had noticed that the leaves were falling late for November. Now this thread about it being unusually warm for this time of year, etc. Personally, I think both of these things relate to the whole Global Warming thing, and all over the Earth I have noticed odd weather stuff being reported for a couple of years now. But I never saw it down to this level where individuals are noticing differences so much so that they feel the need to mention it.

I grew up in south Florida, and when I was a kid, we were lucky if one hurricane per season blew our way. Last year, something like twenty hurricanes came in off the Atlantic ocean off Florida! Hurricanes are one thing, but what we're talking about here is actually the entire season of autumn arriving late. I don't know about you guys, but to me, the fact that we are now experiencing a change in the whole seasonal balance aspect of our climate, it just seems really serious now, and I can't help but feeling a sense of doom.

I reside in northern California now, and the weather here seems about the way it should be for late November. This past summer, we experienced a few weeks of extraordinary heat as had never been seen before - the temperature had never been as high ever in history; so that is a definite classic tell-tale sign of the effect of Global Warming. But autumn seemed to arrive when it should, as far as my awareness goes.

Well, I apologize for being the bearer of such negative thoughts, but this Global Warming thing is really popping up it's nasty little head a lot lately, and I needed to get it said.

    Sincere Regards, Michaela

Toon town babe... I wouldn't mind the cold if it wasn't all snowy and blustery too... had to go out and shovel, and then the wind just rebuilt the snow drifts within a few hours. Not quite as bad as they were originally but still, I'll need to shovel again tomorrow probably, grr

Here in the Ottawa area it's mostly been between 0 and 10 or so lately... no snow to speak of, just a couple little flurries that melted in a few hours. And considering tomorrow's the last day of November, I'd say yeah, this is unseasonably mild.

its pretty warm for nov here in NJ. Tomorrows supposed to be like 65-70 degrees.

I had track practice to like 5 (suns basically set by now in the winter), and was easily warm enough with a long sleeve shirt. Ditto for the morning.

if global warming is caused by burning fossil fuels, wouldn't unburning fossil fuels bring about global cooling?
