before you think this is any old job, think again. I have screws that are SO badly stripped that the slot is unusable. The screws also cannot be damaged by taking them out... I need them. they have a round head, so my vice grips couldn't hold on.
dont they have some special tool type thingy for this. I am sure they do, as my girls dad would always strip things when he was tweaking (fixing things ).
if they are stripped, you are gonna have to fuck em up to get em out. They make tools to remove them, kind of reverse drill bit, but I guess if you cant afford to replace screws, buying tools is outta the question too......
yeah a drill bit and an easy out would work, craftsman made a set that the tip is a reverse drill bit, and a bit up, it turns into an easy out...works great
File a new slot in each of them crossways from the old slot. wonderring though, screws are only a few cents a piece. why are you trying to save the old ones? (Actually, unless you have precesion files you'll have to use a hacksaw)
