im going to the uk to do a postgrad, but dont know which uni to attend? i need a place thats not too expensive to live in ( not london, i can get free accomadation there) has a good atmosphere and is a good uni these are the ones im applying to London metropolitan uni, university of east london, university of westminster, oxford brookes university, thames valley university, coventry uni, uni of central lancashire. i would really really appreciate some help. im totally lost, and well most of the info i can get on uni's is advertisements! Jenn xx
Ideally you want a uni that's in a fairly big town/medium sized city. I would say not London, but I'm guessing if you're coming from abroad money will be less of an issue. meh, Oxford possibly, but I dunno.
thanks a lot guys! thats helpful info. but money definatley is an issue coming from abroad. apparently my parents make too much money for me to be eligable for a grant and im from the republic of ireland so i dont think i can get one anyway... bleh. but i sure am looking forward to getting out of this dank hole and gettin to live it up in a big city! maybe il bump into some of you's!
I got to westminster....it's alright, but there are much better ones, with a more active student union and nicer people.
kinda, heres a map of wales...... its quite a small town, but its beautiful, and me, louise (hippy girl) and john (drinkupyourcider) all live here, along with stacks of funky people that dont post...so its great! cardiffs that the bottom near england
Ah, Wales, that little bit of land tagged on to the western side of England, though not officially recognised by the EU and some still deny its existence altogether....
*gasp* oh the rudeness mr sal! wales is a magnificent sheeptry......country even...there are more sheep in NZ than wales i hasten to add...
No rudeness - it's true! WHERE was Wales on the OFFICIAL map of the EU? I don't think it really exists.
