So, my husband and I are unfortunately faced with the issue of having to acquire all new camping stuff, due to a car fire. Word to the wise: apparently keeping most of your gear packed & in the car is a terrible idea. Anyway, I'm on the hunt for funky camping chairs. I know it's probably not going to be one of a kind, but I've noticed that when I take more unusual chairs to festivals, they're far less likely to be swiped, maybe due to the difficulty of then passing it off as your own. I've been searching around with no luck. Any ideas? It doesn't have to be super fancy, but a cool pattern would be nice. Thanks!
Well, as cool as that would be, it's not exactly conducive to our situation. I'm looking for a folding chair that is easily packed in/out of the venue, for situations where you can't park where you camp. Also, it would kinda take up a lot of vehicle space, which is at a premium.
Google "plank chairs" and search images. When I need a chair while camping this is the kind I normally use. easy to make out of recycled wood from pallets and such.Mine isn't fancy schmancy but eazy peazy. Mine sits low to ground so when it comes time to crawl back to my camp. I don't have to far to fall.
