1.) i'll start in reverse order, when i was young i would have these dreams, no visuals whatsoever in the dream, just hearing, in the dreams there would be drumming slow at first then gradually increasing, and in the dream i have to lift some impossible amoutn of weight or it feels as if theres a great pressure bearing down on me and time is running out, and something is watching me struggle, keep in mind i have no visuals(cant picture anything) during the dream, and as the drumming gets faster and faster i still struggle with the weight, eventually the drumming quits as does the dream and i wake up hysterically crying, this happened maybe 4 or 5 times when i was younger maybe 5-8 yrs old, but not since then however some times i get very odd feelings throughout by body like i felt in my dreams when i was unable to bear the burden of the weight...these dreams have always puzzled me, my mom use to joke that aliens were trying to abduct me hense the title...2.) another dream the i have which is extremely frequent, im almost guaranteed this dream once a month its different everytime but the theme is ever present, the dead have risen and are taking over and its a fight for survival...im with a group of people sometimes i know them(friends/family) other times complete strangers, anyway we are all together fighting the undead anyway possible, trying to survive...my theory on why i have these dreams frequently is because of the night of the living dead movies, my all time favorite horror movies, ive even spent time thinking about what if this really happened what my plan would be...kinda wierd but i think it explains the dreams...sorry if its long, my posts tonight have shared this characteristic
That is kind of wierd. Maybe you could check out some dream books or something, maybe by Sylvia Brown I believe her name is, I've heard she's the real stuff.
The one you had as a kid i also had frequently as a kid, maybe not the exact dream, but the same feelings. Funny thing you should mention aliens, because if you asked me when i was a kid i'd swear they weren't dreams. i heard those noises and felt the vibrations and at that time i equated it with aliens in my mind (for whatever reason) and i was TERRIFIED of them. Now i'm an adult and fear of aliens doens't exactly occupy my brain anymore...but when you mentioned the dreams i thought of it. THe only other time i have ever experience a similar feeling is when i was very sick in the hospital and had seizures out of my sleep. I couldn't see anything nor was a i really conscious of anything, except for the fact that there was this awful vibration and it came with a deafening jackhammer noise, that i wasn't so much hearing as i was feeling. THe vibrations didn't feel like my body shaking, they felt like i was hooked up to some machine outside of myself that was pumping the vibrations through me. I couldn't breathe or scream, and the only thing i was really conscious of was the fact that i couldn't breathe or call for help and if it didn't stop i would die. When i woke up my muscles were twitching so i figured i had had a seizure but it really felt like it was a force outside of myself acting upon me. Not sure if that's related... ~ Silly
