my best friend...the dude with the dune buggy I showed here.....we go back 45 years....one of his older brothers died of a heroin overdose way back in the early eighties....he was a helluva cool dude......one time we were doing a drug deal ad he was in th back set of my 79 Camaro...I was driving and wife in the passenger seat......

we are downtown Toronto and I am making a left at rush hour at a set of lights.....as I turn buddy coming at me switchs to the outside curb lane to go aroud the car turning in front of him...he hit me broadside and spun us the rest of the way through the intersection...tim is in the back seat and he has a pound of hash in his over coat......

he looks at me and says ''i'm outta here'' and my wife lets him out and he walks away like nothing happened ....that happened right before he died

 

So I realised praying is the only thing I haven't tried and I wasn't sure I knew quite how and so Iooked up to the sky and I said "you owe me nothing and as far as I know Lord I don't owe nothing to you and I am not asking for a miracle Lord but just a little bit of luck will do. And you know I haven't ever prayed before but it always seemed to me, that if praying is the same as begging Lord, well I don't take no charity.
