    Dear Bothers and Sisters,

I just called a guy who really wants to sell here in the Casper, Wyoming area. He has 5 acres, a doublewide mobile home, a well and septic tank, and phone and electric all for only $35,000. I can handle the $35K but let me tell you about another property that I would really like to get! It has about 5000 acres and is only $1.3 million. Can you imagine that. Someone out there can do this deal. Let me know. If we can conceive it we can achieve it.

    Love,
    Roger

5000 acres and $1.3 million seems bad till you break it down.
$260.00 and acre, cash I bet buys it for $225 to $250 an acre

So offer it to a bunch of you for like 10 acre tracts $2250 to $2500 for 10 acres. No this would depend on if the land is good land or highland garbage that takes like 40 acres for a single cow and no water too

No matter, if there is large tracts of land, you bust it down its cheaper.

Around here small tracts bring $3000+ an acre, but like 80acres can be had for $1000 or less an acre. Just need to bust it down to fit the pocket books.

hey peace warrior, what kind of community do you want to build? in what area? do you know other people who would be interested in doing it with you? right now i'm helping rabbit and willow start the cooperative effort community in paradise, ca. would you be interested in something like that? we're buying a nice piece of land and they will be building the community from scratch. you should check out their website http://www.co-operativeeffort.com/. drop them a line. also willpower is doing a similar thing in maine. old wolf is doing it in finger lakes,ny. we also have access to land near madison,wi and new paltz,ny. or how about gainesville,fl. those are a few places where grassroots communities are developing. and if you get in at the roots period you get to help establish the vibe. some ideas to think about. or check out our forum http://groups.yahoo.com/group/newworldrisingforum/. i'm in ri too. do you ever go to max creek or reggae shows? good places to dance. have you ever been to the exodus cafe at the black repertory theater. nice mixed crowd and good music. the last show i saw there was noble society, a reggae rap group from brooklyn. they were smokin. as220 is good if you like to sit around and look at artistic type people and talk. not much dancing so i don't go there that much. i helped build the living room which has played a major role in developing the original music scene here. did you ever check out lion's eye on brook st? lonnie is one of the original rastas in providence. so hopefully you'll find some of these options interesting. drop me a line if you want to talk more about ri. peace
