umphreys is in chicago. Sence i cant drive id havta take a train and the last train leaves at 12:30. idk if its different on new years but i dont wanna be rushed to catch some lame train or be worried about being stuck in the city over night. if anyones going from the chicago area and has an extra seat in their car let me know.

It should be an awesome show- Umphrey's puts on a great one. If you wanted to check them out cheaper you could go to the 12/30 show- its only $25 I think. Either way you should definitely check them out some time!

Yes $50 is a lot of money for Umphrey's. I know all bands jack up their prices on New Years but that is a little excessive. If it was between Umphrey's and the Moe show I would save my money and go to the Moe show in Feb. I still have not decided if I am going to make into Chicago for Umphrey's or just stay around here.

I've got friends going to it who live in Indiana. Umprey's puts on a really good show, I've been to a couple of their shows, and I've seen them on Halloween. That was fun. $50 is steep, but, if you can afford it, then see Umphrey's. You won't regret it.

Just from experience, I HIghly suggest going to see Umphrey's, even if only on the cheaper date, but trust me, their shows are so alive, you'll forget you even thought about prices. Their live shows kicks some serious ass! I wish I lived even close! Lucky bastards you!
