Welcome To The Hip Forums Hendrix1993, I too play guitar & have for over 30 years....I have a Martin, a Fender & an Ovation....Allow me to extend the welcome mat….I know what it’s like to be a newcomer….You don’t really know what to say or how to act…. Read some of the threads so you can get the gist of what topics are being discussed….When you feel comfortable jump right in and get your feet wet…. Nobody here is going to "Flame" you, that just isn’t tolerated here (unless it’s necessary) lol…. We get some assholes here who just want to stir up bad vibes.…From what I’ve found so far is that we are one big family with many brothers and sisters….Once again the doors open come on in, open up your heart and mind, put on some groovy tunes, kick back and stay awhile….Peace, Love & Great Big Hugs, DDR Here's a photo of my little piece of Paradise, you can see the lake in the background Quote Of The Day Thomas Huxley: "Perhaps the most valuable result of all education is the ability to make yourself do the thing you have to do when it ought to be done, whether you like it or not; it is the first lesson that ought to be learned; and however early a man's training begins, it is probably the last lesson that he learns thoroughly."
Cool young hip people is the reason I can still dress and look like I'm still back in the 60's. Back in the eighties, in the era of disco,,,I really thought it was over.....luckily I found a place called dance free where people thought it was cool to dress comfortably and colorful and dance for a few hours at least once a week in the semi-dark church and pretend they were hip...for them it was once a week. For this reason I welcome new hippies as much as I can. It takes more courage to make it a lifestyle.
