I didn't know where to post this.....i accidently posted it in the parenting forum, too......
I just started on BC at the beginning of May on the first day that my period started.
I'm probably just experiencing typical BC symptoms, like crampiness and head aches....but I've been kinda neasous and have no appetite. But then outta no where, I get really hungry and feel so sick I could throw up. What's really been throwing me off, is that I've been having the pee every 3 hours or so, which really isn't normal for me. I haven't changed my diet or anything.....I've been getting really thristy, so maybe that's why I'm going more, but I haven't been drinking so much that I should be going that much more.
My temperature has also been up and down...majority of the time, I'm freezing now.
    I've also been very fatigued....
I'm on the same BC that I used to use before I had Leane (it's Marvelon), but I never had ANY side effects.
I'm starting my non-hormone pills this week, and i feel like my period has been wanting to start for the last 5 days, so I don't think that it's pregnancy. I guess that I'll be finding out if it's that in the next week....
But if it's not, should I switch my brand or just wait the 3 months until the symptoms go away?

Talk to your doc. I would suspect that, with such severe side effects, the doc will switch you right away. Nausea and headaches are possibly signs of dangerous side effects, but your doc will be able to diagnose far better than anyone on here can.

I've heard of other people who were fine with a certain type of pill for years, then started having a bad reaction to it. A pregnancy can really change your system, so that would be one of the least surprising triggers for no longer dealing well with your old pill!

Nausea and headaches could be a sign that your BP has gone up, a common side effect of hormonal BC. I'd definitely talk to your doc. S/he could probably switch your next month (after next week's non-hormonal pills) to a lower dosage or non-estrogen pill.
