Since retiring three years ago THIS WEEKEND!, I have been through many art phases. The art phases have included, but not are not limited to GIFs, both two dimensional and Claymation, then wood carvings, metal signs, and on and on. Pen and ink remain my favorite, but now I'm in a typewriter stage, having purchased a 1959 Remington Travel-Riter for $45 at a local resale shop. I have always been attracted to typewriters even though I'm a terrible typist. They are so retro, so mechanical so... visceral! This is a little animation I made a couple of years ago, utilizing letters I downloaded off of the internet with my cartoon character as the typist: I plan to submit more of my Typewriter Art as time & inspiration allows.
Haha love it OP. Typewriters are so cool. I inherited a yellow Brother model and I love it. No irritating updates or power cords just ink on the page.
I had a typewriter at the age of six. It was the best. I would LOVE to see more typewriter art @Davey Do
