Tylenol 3's suck ass.....

my tooth still hurts and I'm itchy as fuck....

my darned wisdom tooth is coming in.. sooooo not cool at all.. I actually thought I was going to get away with not getting them like my mom but I didn't get so lucky lol... and I'm a pussy and am dreading the dentist.. lol

Sounds like a mild allergy to hydrocodeine. Take some benadryl and put a cool wet rag on anywhere you notice the itching. Lay down and take it easy but stay awake for about an hour.

If you have a hard time breathing go ahead and call a doctor. Doesn't sound serious.

I have straight teeth and haven't had so much as a cavity the idea of them cutting into my mouth and ripping my tooth out makes me panic..

hey some answer me this... not trying to be funny but how much ibuprofen is too much.. I'm too tired to google lol... I have gall bladder problems and stupid stomach issues and I'm curious if the amount I'm taking is like ripping a hole in my stomach..

 

google says about 600mg every six hours is normal use. for over the counter shit taht is. so i say 2gs wouldn't even be enough to cause immediate problems...to say nothing about the long term effects on your kidneys and liver.

 

I felt itchy today too.

I think 4,000mg is about the safe limit for ibuprofen.. people have taken 10,000mg+ and been OK but it's not recommended.

 

ok cool.. yea i take ALOT around 1,600mg-2,400mg every 3-6 hours depending on the pain.... but glad to hear its not dangerous..

T3s are acetaminophen and codeine, not hydrocodone. its normal for all opiates/opioids to make you itch if you take enough, and as some people are effected more profoundly to certain drugs than most people, it is totally possible that she's just more sensitive to the codeine, despite it being a very weak opiate.

if your tooth still hurts and the codeine isn't helping enough, then try taking a little bit extra regular tylenol (without the codeine) or better yet a different otc analgesic such as ibuprofen or naproxen (too much acetaminophen, the stuff in tylenol, is bad for the liver...if you're going to be taking it for several days, its probably best not to overdo the tylenol). this should help a little more with the pain without taking any more codeine, so you won't get itchier.

personally, though, i kinda like the opiate itch
