Hell yes, I wanted to share this with everyone. My dreads are finally long enough to be tied back. I was eating cereal a couple minues ago and it kept almost going in the bowl so I was like "Fuck this I'm gettin' one of my sisters hair things" so I put them in there and I feel so light and easy to move. It feels like I've just moved up another notch in the dread world...
I don't like tying mine back because it normally results in a rather uncomfortable croydon facelift. I'm just waiting for the day when I can throw them over my shoulders and have the stay there for longer than 10 seconds (another few inches should do it)
Yay! I think I can do this too A few balance on the top and if distubed will fall down and won't go back up again, but if I do the ponytail high enough they all stay Is such a good feeling to have peripheral vision xD
Haha! Nice dude! I can tie mine back but unfortunately they're too short to look good. They just kinda stick all over the place and I feel like a pineapple.:svengo:
when mine have been up for a while and I take them out they stay ontop my head for a while like a turban it's gorg
Rub it in why dontcha. the day i'm able to do this, I will smoke a joint the size of a baseball bat and levitate. Lately I've been breaking all my lady's hair tie's so I've been on the search for proper one that can do the job. Currently I have one of those rubber breast cancer bracelet things in, it works pretty well.
I can't really tie mine back, they are certainly long enough but the length doesn't overcome the thickness of them all. If I'm at home I always have my hair back in a bandanna, that works great
Same :afro: Although I wouldn't have as much length as you, but there's just way to much hair for the length to tie them back without it looking kinda stupid.
It's a really muggy day today and I just tied mine up Although I have to bobby-pin my fringe ones back so they don't annoy me. My neck is so cool right now.
Yeah, I always pin mine back in summer too. Can't seem to bring myself to dread them though, I like the extra "forehead scarf" for the winter.
How long are yours Glen? Seeing as though we don't have a picture, but a picture is worth a thousand words... Care to give us a thousand words instead?
