Two Truths and a Lie

Standard getting-to-know-you game. Thought I'd see how strange, diverse and wonderful this forum board is. Just put two outrageous truths and one outrageous lie about yourself and the next poster has to guess which is the lie.

• I used to be a foil fencing competitor and champion
• I never travel anywhere without a copy of Dracula and And Then There Were None.
• This is the only sentence I've ever ended with a preposition, that I know of.(the correct answer)

I think the second one is a lie ... but that you always carry one or the other but not both.


My three:

1. I used to have an explosives licence
2. I have been placed in national championhips in three different sports (athletics, ice dance and show jumping)
3. It's over two years since my last car accident

Edit: And the lie was the second one. I've COMPETED at national championship level in athletics, skating and equestrian disciplines ... although maybe not the ones mentioned. However, the highest I've finished in any is 4th.

1. I CANNOT stand the taste of cherries. <-- I love cherries. My favorite artificial flavoring and natural flavor.

2. I'm a fan of satire.

3. I am a cat person.

 

second one

1. i was picked out of just a handful of writers from all over the world, an nominated for an international writer of the year award.

2.i love all animals,but cats are'nt my favorites.

3.i never lived in houses until the past 10years

BTW, after someone has guessed you should either post the right answer or edit your post to show it.

• I hate sneezing more than anything I can think of.(For some reason it feels like I have sinuses full of broken glass when I sneeze. I can't stand it. It's painful.)

1. I worked with glass today.

2. Although my eyes are brown, I wear contacts to make them blue. <-- this was my lie. I'm perfectly secure with every part of my body.

3. I've only visited the ocean three times in my life, that I remember.

1. I prefer Jasmine tea over any others.

3. I had my license provoked due to possession charges. <--- Correct, Black Books! I don't have licence. Never needed one.

• I cannot whistle and have never have been able to whistle.

Yeah, 3 is a lie. I learned how to whistle when I was twenty. Bugged the shit out of people with it.
