Last night I had an amazing trip with what I believe was the best group of people I could have ever asked for. We all became very close there for a while, and it was probably the most beautiful, religious, and healing trip I have every had... No worries, everything was good, and lots of laughter and good friends all around. Today I'm back at my place... everyone is either working or playing poker (i'm chronically broke), and I feel this anticipation that something is telling me to eat more tonight, but not for a while after tonight... like tonight is MY time... my time to take the trip to a different level and surrender myself completely to the trip. I was outside painting today, and I stumbled across a field while I was hiking for the perfect "spot". There was a little shroom forest out there, I even saw one that was nearly a foot tall and the skirt hadn't even broken around it's jar sized head! I later found the cows that helped make it, but just seeing that.... it kinda made me feel like it was a gift straight up to me from the earth... Then, like right after I thought that, a bull calf came walking up to me and he let me take some pictures of him for a while. He was a black angus. So, would it be even remotely possible for a second trip the day after? I didn't really take that much last night, and it was only enough for a 6 hour trip... it's like 22 hours later, i have a high metabolic rate, and I'm wondering if there would even be any point to it, or should I wait a day or two? I have orange juice, solitude, and a starry, awesome night... Any thoughts?
You wouldn't get anything like what you got the other night. Your tolerance is just too high. It would be a waste if you ask me, but if you have surplus shrooms then it wouldn't hurt.
Well, I decided to hold off for at least a day or two just in case. I've got plenty of my little friends to last me for quite a while, but I'd rather take them on a good, worthwhile trip rather than just a ride around the block, if you know what I mean... Besides, I've got lots of other drugs to play with, and I would hate for them to feel neglected... Perhaps tomorrow or the day after will be best to go at it again...
well, it's been 48 hours since that first trip, and I just swallowed about 3 or 4 caps, but i don't think it was enough... Perhaps I should let them start working... I swallowed them all of like 2 minutes ago with some cool orange juice, but I'm looking for intense enlightenment tonight... 2 or three more mid sized caps should be fine I'm gonna guesstimate... Here's to the Divine Sacrament!!!
You can't just take drugs and expect an enlightening experience. Reconsider your drug use--what are you getting out of it? Meditate. Learn more about yourself. Tripping too frequently is foolish, and an utter waste of a drug, and a brain.
just because you may not get an enlightening experience everytime, doesn't mean others can't. Tripping two days in a row every once in a while won't hurt much as long as you take a little break after. *like a couple of weeks. I dont know, i have tripped two days in a row with some mushrooms, and had a better trip the second night. Same dosage too. It's all about where, and who you are with.
Precisely! ^ Just because you react to something differently doesn't make it foolish for someone else to take advantage of their own conditioning. It certainly isn't a waste of a brain either, expecially when you take into account how psilocybin works in the brain. There is way too much criticism coming from someone who doesn't know me or what my life is like and what I'm going through at the moment. I could take the time to fill you in, but I won't because I have other things to do than address your rather rude remarks in any great detail. Just know that everyone has their own reasons for doing what they do... whether it's addiction, recreation, enlightenment... what does it really matter as far as you are concerned? We can all have our opinion and we can all express it, but please don't diminish the quality of your character by abruptly asserting and enforcing your opinion on me or anyone else. Personally, I teach yoga, as well as other forms of Oriental meditation and philosophy in my extracurricular time. I meditate quite often, and I even went so far as to become a Dr. of Metaphysics in my spare time as I'm earning my Bachelor's degree here at school. Please don't speak so boldly out of ignorance...
Jabbawaya, I don't mean to come off so harsh on you, but here is a website that will hopefully explain the entheogenic qualities of psychedelic enlightenment to you in a way you may better understand: http://www.thefane.org/ I hope that helps.
