How many people have a TV in their bedroom? If you do, how much TV do you watch on that set? What do you like/dislike about having a TV in your bedroom? Just curious as we are currently in negotiations in this house over this and I wondered what other thought and do. Thanks
Well, I don't have a TV anywhere in the house. But back when we had a TV we did not have one in the bedroom. I like to read before sleeping instead of watching TV and any other time I am in that room it is to have sex, so it really wouldn't be useful for me personally. So who in your house wants the TV?
I currently don't have one in my room. But in the past when I have I find that I usually stay up way too late.
My partner. I have never had a TV in the bedroom. To be fair we really have different sleep patterns so having one there would not be a really huge issue unless it was on when I am there. That could be worked around. I think I will probably cave on this and surprise him with one for Christmas but wondered what others do with regards to TV.
36 inch one I use the sleep timer and find I fall asleep quicker with it on and volume set to number 1..I rarely watch it because I take the laptop with me...in fact I use the s-vid cable to watch movies right of the laptop more than actual tv shows
Between the two of us, Daniel and I have two televisions that we had before we got together. So we have his nicer newer TV in the living room and my old fat TV in the bedroom. We didn't even have the cable plugged in on either TV for weeks until we found out we were getting Comedy Central. I still rarely watch TV in my room, sometimes we turn it on for background noise when we're having sex...but last night we did it in the living room...so...it's been awhile since the TV back there has been on. I see no real pros or cons to it, I just have it because I have a TV and didn't want to leave it at my parents' house. Haha.
Hello, but that... makes the recording much more difficult . Anyway, I don't have a tv, neither in my bedroom nor anywhere else. And I don't like it if the tv is running while I'm visiting people. Regards Gyro
I'm kind of loud...and we had a neighbor in the house on the other side of our property and if he or his friends were in his driveway, I could hear them, so I'm sure they could hear me. Haha.
I have a large tv in my bedroom, but I only watch movies on it if I'm having trouble going to sleep. We don't have cable in my house because we all think its the devil.
yes. the only place I dont want Tv set is in a kitchen ..... my mom has a habit of kitchen Tv. one the reasons I dont eat there much .. If Im going to eat I dont want to hear news and bullshit commercials .. Many times Im going to eat the Tv is off..
i don't have one now, but when i lived with my parents i had one in my bedroom. early on it was very useful, because it allowed me to watch late-night cinemax porn. later it was very useful, because it allowed me to sit in bed and watch tv while getting stoned. in other words, you probably shouldn't put a tv in your kid's bedroom.
Oh yes!! It is a must. Matter of fact I just bought a nice 26" flat screen. It will be set up in the bedroom as soon as the new bedroom furnature arrives. The tv in there now is mostly for background noise to fall asleep to. I like to set the timer, my gf likes it on all night. When the new one is set up, it will be used for when we want to watch different programming.
I have one in the bedroom. I don't have cable or satellite, so I use it to watch DVD's at night. I prefer to snuggle in my bed to watch a movie over sitting on the couch in the living room. Just a preference. Neither of them are ever on during the day, though I've been trying to remind myself I should watch the local 6pm news. Too bad it's on during supper.
Hello, is he together with his friends always in his driveway when you are in your bedroom ? Regards Gyro
Growing up I wasn't allowed a TV in my room. My parents thought I'd spend all my time there and none with them. They followed the same rule, and still to this day don't have a tv in their room. I still live at home :/ lame I know, and I have a TV in my room, but no cable connection, not even basic cable. It is used for movies/music dvds and that's it. I rarely use it, and that's how it should be i don't know what will happen when i move in with my partner, i suspect he will want a tv in the bedroom, we shall see how that turns out though
I have one in my room, I love being able to lay down at night and watch some king of the hill! It does tend to keep me up way to late at night though, which can suck at times.
I have a tv in every room in my house. I got one in the kitchen, livingroom, bedroom, kids room and a spare one in the basement, that actually did get used down there until recently. I think it's great for drowning out snoring.
