decided to go out and buy myself a turntable to start my vinyl collection. got a good deal on a dual 1019 and 100 records for 75 dollars. there are alot of good albums in there to, including stuff by leonard cohen, bob dylan, the who, joni mitchell, bruce springsteen, and all sorts of other albums.

i got enough music to last me a good while, but i gotta find a worthly priced preamp and a pair of good speakers. i have the money, but i cant get it out of my account until im 21...i could spend my mothers money, but its my money and i should spend it how i please. every time i try to buy something with my own money, she insists on paying it for me. i guess its great that she is doing so, but i just hope she doesnt go broke

mmm...would love to run my turntable through a nice tube. the warmth of the vinyl with the warmth of a nice tube would be sublime. imagine going to bed in a wash of warmth sine waves. :D

AHAAHAH... I just pictured you with a huge PA and this old turntable on this table.... :D I was like "holy shit, it's DJ Pawl!"

Then you went about scratching with uh, some very... not-as-good albums.

    Craig is the man.

Bob Barker... is also the man.

Actually, neither of them is the man. I bet there's some rogue IRS agent out there, right now. You know, Dog Chapman-esque (Dog the Bounty Hunter) who could probably pass for being "the man"...

I don't think any of it is bad. :D

In fact, there's always something that's going to be "bad", though you don't walk into a store and go "oh my, that is expensive" and get all offended/freak out about it (though my dad has been known to)... you just grab what you need, you know.

Well, I mean... Craigslist isn't the problem, people are the problem--though they're also the solution.

Learn to be weary (I think I do that more than I need to). It sorta cancels out feebility? :D Bizarre word.
