I just heard about it and got really interested. I know only the basic facts. In 1908 something hit the region tunguska in siberia. A mushroom shaped cloud, as if a nuclear bomb with the combined energy of 2000 hiroshima bombs dropped, appeared in the sky. (Note that the nuclear power was not even invented in 1908) Around the stroking place 6000 square km of trees fell down, poiting out from the circle. The heat was unbearable for those who was witness. Dust covered all of europe. The sunlight was reflected on the dust and for three nights it was so light you could read a newspaper outside at midnight, I have found notes about this both from england and sweden. Since the sovjet was a closed country for a long time there have not been many expeditions to the region. The theories are many though, some thoughts of a spaceship that crashed and other say it was an asteroid that hit the earth. Well, this is quite a lot of facts when I think about it but still, I'm curious. Is there anyone else who heard of this and maybe know more?
The Tunguska Event of June 30, 1908 has been discussed for decades. The theories surrounding the event range from the atmospheric impact of a small asteroid or comet, to a matter/antimatter explosion of the engines of a UFO. The area has been surveyed but the results were inconclusive because of the atmospheric component of an asteroid (which would have been vaporized) that also includes a comet or the nucleus of a comet. as for a UFO, well any debris would have been collected by the red army and placed under tight security. hotwater
comet recieves my vote as well. when you get a very fast moving object encountering the tropopause, you're pretty likely to get some kind of explosion
well theres also the fact that at that time Our Dear Mr. Nikola Tesla was experimenting with a way to wirelessly transmit electricity, and not only in low amplitudes... So apparently he was able to do so and was offering different countries as well as Russia his "weapon", and Tunguska was a sort of demonstration... There are many things that we will never know about the reality of the events of this world and how deeep their roots go... because really look around there is so much unkown SOOO MUCHH!! hehe mystic days
What I know tells me it was due to Tesla electromagnetics, as the poster above mentioned. I don't believe it was a comet, space aliens, or any of that paranormal baloney they usually feed us about what happened there.
I actually read about a very interesting theory about that. It said the object that hit earth was a piece of anti-matter smaller than that of a football. Some how it got into our atmosphere. Any size bigger and we'd all be dead.
