This is exactly what I said a while ago in another thread about smoking, and everyone pretty much called me retarded saying it doesn't work like that and that I don't understand :D

smoking weed will not really help. its just going to get you higher, and may bring on tobacco /nicotine withdraw hallucinations.
I quit and was tripping so hard naturally on withdraws, I had to literally trip on psychedelics to chill ..

This may sound crazy to those who think they need to get high every day... but if you quit cigs.. quit smoking marijuana at the same time.. it'll be a lot easier to not want a smoke if you're not smoking at all... especially if you are like most cig and weed smokers.. where you smoke a bowl and then close the session with a cigarette.... I did it when I quit.. for like a week... and still haven't had a cig in probably 4 or 5 months.. it's been some time I know that

pick the two places you are at the most (work/home) and quit smoking at one of them. the home and work mentality is very different and you can pretty much put all of your nicotine cravings into one. fucks with your head. and you won't smoke as much. i only smoke at work and don't even think about cigarettes on my days off. but i'm sure itching for one after the weekend and i'm starting work in a couple hours..

of course if you wanna quit then just fuckin quit. it's the only way to do it

I knocked a glass of water over just a few days ago. It went over half the table but the only thing on it that got really soaked was my last joint. I rolled it earlier but decide to wait a little because i wanted to smoke it on the end of the evening. Hence I was pretty bummed. Then my eye catched the microwave and I thought this is my only chance to smoke that stuff tonight. Worked really good! Hmm perhaps this was a bit off topic. I also wouldn't recommend it to save your last cig (but certainly for a J!) :D

    LOL!! Goofy

I quit smoking cancer sticks about 6 months ago and biting my nails at the same time.
I have never used patches or nicotine gum but i do keep a stash of minty gum.. i find that when i crave the gum helps keep me from smoking..

But joker is right if you're going to quit then you just have to do it..
You have to really want to quit to actually quit.
Is what motivated me to quit was a lady i was close too... she was 72 years old with emphysema, and COPD.
