While I have occasionaly used marijuana since 1968, this time I am on a mission to find help for a close friend. My friend has suffered from extreme leg pain, both due to RLS and an attempted murder assault, since 1996. No medication has helped. They have just doped her up and made her non-functional most days. In Canada, medical majijuana is legal. The problem is finding physicians who are educated about it and dispense it. Her family doctor does not believe in it and only referred us to a company when backed into a corner. However, that company facilitates the process for a $300 fee which she cannot afford because she is on the most minimum old age pension. (If we can get her medical marijuana, I will cover the cost.) During the decade I have know her, she has had to live a very limited life. The pain occurs both during the day and always wakes her up with extreme pain after she has only slept a few hours. So she is always sleep deprived and heavily drugged. Can anyone tell me of a doctor who does dispense in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. My leads are dwindling. Next stop is the medical writer for the local daily newspaper. Thanks.
Have you looked into this; http://greenleafmc.ca/ or here is another; https://medicalmarijuanaservices.ca/medical-pot-clinic-offers-doctor-visits-via-skype-metro/ seem to range from about $150-$300
Thanks for searching for me. These are companies filling a vacuum now and charging money to facilitate. All physicians can dispense and just need to be found. That would eliminate the fee.
