So i dont have any lights, and little funds, but i got some good seeds and want to just try some growing out before i move out and actually go all out on some indoor.I would like to just try to plant some seeds and dont really no where to start.I would just put them in potters i guess but was wondering if there were a few things i could do to help them along or tings i could do to make them be bigger and better. This is more of an experiment but was hoping for somthing to come out of it.( i have about 100 bucks if you guys wanna recomend some good stuff)

thank you for any help you can give :)

hey rangerdanger, so if i wanted to buy some good soil and then just plant them in/near my back yard but in a sneaky spot, and water them every day they would turn out allright? becuase i might plant like 20 scattered around but would i get decent bud??

you cant just plant them you have to get the seeds to sprout( put them in a moist towl for like a day or so till the shell brakes) then after that keep them indors for the first week so they can get there roots in the ground after that yeah outside with some water sounds good ^_^

    What I do:

I NEVER germinate in paper towels.
I buy little peat pots, something like 5" tall by 4" wide (real cheap, a coupla a bucks for like 10 of em).
I fill each one with soil, moisten the soil, then plant a seed in each one, each seed 1/2" deep on it's side.
Then I mist again until the sides on the peat pot are moist.
I set them outside in a well-protected spot with a mini-greehouse over each one until they sprout, then plant the peat pot them in prepared soil with the greenhouse dealie. The roots will easily grow thru the peat pot.
Weed needs LOTS of direct sun, the more the better.
You're gonna need to fertilize the plants at least once a week. Mix some nutrients with water in an empty 1-gal. milk jug, shake it up baby and water with that.
    Fox Farms makes excellent nutrients.

What nutrients/fertilizers do you use ranger? I'd like to go natural but if its not possible i would like to keep my options open.
Why not start them in paper towels? Mine seemed to do alright that way, thats how they taught us to start beans way-back-when.
