OK here is the challenge..It took me two hours to figure out the solution..you wanted something for mind fuck??i give it to you..here it goes Given that: There are 5 houses in 5 different colors. Each house is owned by a man of a different nationality. The 5 owners drink a certain type of beverage, smoke a certain brand of cigar, and keep a certain pet. No owners have the same pet, smoke the same brand of cigar, or drink the same beverage. The question is: Who owns the fish? Clues: The Brit lives in the red house. The Swede keeps dogs as pets. The Dane drinks tea. The green house is on the left of the white house. The green house's owner drinks coffee. The person who smokes Pall Mall rears birds. The owner of the yellow house smokes Dunhill. The man living in the center house drinks milk. The Norwegian lives in the first house. The man who smokes Blends lives next to the one who keeps cats. The man who keeps the horse lives next to the man who smokes Dunhill. The owner who smokes Bluemasters drinks beer. The German smokes Prince. The Norwegian lives next to the blue house. The man who smokes Blends has a neighbor who drinks water.
Hey miracle! I got it, too! Woohoo!! It was tricky, took me 1 hour to figure it all out (without reading the solution!!).
It doesn't actually, just write down all the colours of the houses and then try to use the clues to put them in order. Then from the rest of the clues try to assign an owner, a drink, a smoke and a pet to each house. You'll fill it all up eventually, although later on in the puzzle some trial and error is required.
