So you are basically Muslim and you admit it? You would like your profit to control the government and you think anyone who does not follow your profit (in your case being Trump and money) must die.

Just curious do you expect Jesus to be OK with guns and the dog eat dog nature of the Republican free market? For example the reason why it's so hard to get unemployment now is the system is set up to treat every claim as fraud. Why do you think that is?

I would like you to show where in the bible it says guns and cruelty to the poor are OK.

If anything Jesus would be similar to Bernie Sanders saying that we need a system to care for sick and that love matters more then money.

Pretty sad when people who can vote go on about a party not having the right as you say to exist. Dude you don't understand democracy at all yet are so arrogant as to think you own it.

 

Where is your god Varmint? Does he have the power to heal humanity from committing beastly acts upon one another? To stop the endless wars to which his creations are so fond? To inculcate love of all humans extant instead of hate , of endless strife, and misery, the starving and blown to pieces children? To speak against hucksters for those who are lost --that give of their time and hard earned money so that they, the hucksters can live in luxury? That hate others--always the others ---that appear different from themselves? Where is this loving creator whereof you speak? Watching over the ghettos of the downtrodden? Making life fair and equitable for all creatures great and small? If he has the power to heal ----to make change--why is it not evident? How could anyone ever forgive a creator with the ultimate power to prevail over his own creations---to allow the conditions under which humans have lived, are living and seemingly will continue to live? What I have seen in my life--what I have read about historical life--and what I'm seeing now--I cannot see my way into the beliefs that continue to hold a loving god as real. For if there is a creator that allowed/allows the aforementioned conditions to continue --some explanation is due and certainly owed.

I think we need to continue this line of argument in the religion forum and get back to Trump's response to COVID-19.

 

There is nothing holy about the quran. It is based on the false religion of a lying thief, murderer, and pedophile. The book of Enoch was never part of it. It was, however, part of the bible.

Actually, where archeology has discovered evidence, it tends to support hte bible as being quite accurate.

The first part is your own opinion. And my spelling is caused by missing keys on the keyboard, some of which stick. Sometimes, however, I mess something when spell-checking. I doubt "any" muslim could help with that, especially since they and their religion are the most backward-looking known to man. They've produced nothing but misery and ignorance, despite trying to take credit for many good things like math, science, and architecture, just like a lot of modern leftists and socialists I've read about in historical references.

Well, like most conversations, this one "followed the little rabbit trails" and here we are. I may never agree with stormountain, but I can't dislike the guy. He provides much entertainment and challenging viewpoints. I hope he sticks around for a very long time. One day we may get to sit dowdn, have a brew, and hurl cracks and political or religious jabs at one another. Even get a cackle or two. One's disagreement does not make one an enemy.

This would be funny if he didn't have so many voters. How can you not see this? Again textbook narcissism and incompetence. No matter how ridiculous he will find a lie to change the blame. And in his own mind be might actuly believe it. The problem is other people do too.

And if getting a bad start because of incompetence matters why was Obama responsible for everything in 2012? At the time the fact that the economy was terrible was 100% his fault. Even though he was elected into office moths after it began under a Republican presidency he had 4 years to lead and fix and it was not fixed.

But when Trump has had nearly 4 years it's not even his fault if something is wrong?

I've been wondering that with all the political partisanship and hatred in the U.S. if we'll self-destruct again into a civil war. Russia and China must be laughing their asses off at us. Putin must be grinning ear-to-ear, and thinking the U.S. might fall without having to fire a shot.

Nice poster, Sierra …………………….. but I beat you with this idea with an earlier post of mine on here somewhere!! Your poster should become a legal document to be issued in all 50 states. (Poster can be viewed in post #1672.)

I truly believe that any protester that wants to get out and around as if everything is A-ok should be FORCED to sign a document JUST LIKE THIS. If they're that stupid and un-caring of others, they should forfeit any and ALL medical care so medical workers and supplies can be directed to those people who obeyed stay-at-home orders and social distancing.

For all the muck-mouths who say drug users who overdose should be left to die - why waste money and resources on them when they CHOSE to take drugs - the same exact "writing off" should apply to protesters who knowingly ignore medical experts' warnings. ( I'm NOT advocating for drug users, either!! ) Just an apples-to-apples comparison of the thought process.

 

What are you all going on about the protesters for? You have many states lifting restrictions now anyway, so seems the protests worked
